[From the community] Meet AEG’s Emma Greco

This Week, we talked to Paris-based booking agent and promoter Emma Greco. Greco joined AEG Presents in 2019 where she works on international acts such as Fred Again.. and has added to the roster emerging artists such as Benee, Beabadoobee and Daði Freyr.

What do you do at AEG?

I work as a promoter. My job is to find new exciting international artists, book the best venues for them and promote their live shows in France. I listen to music, talk to agents, managers, labels, work with venues and festivals, work on budgets, production, go to shows…there’s never a dull moment!

What exciting projects do you work on at the moment ?

There are many projects I’m excited about, some of the artists I can’t wait to see on stage this year are Fred Again.., Remi Wolf, Olivia Rodrigo, which I have recently taken on. I have my first Zenith (Paris concert hall) show coming up this summer, that’s huge for me. I’m working on headline shows for the fall, exciting things ahead but I can’t say anything just yet.

What's the best advice you got when you started as a promoter?

Don't be afraid to ask questions and seize every opportunity!

What's your favorite road trip album ? And a special dish you would like to eat with ?

Maggie Rogers’ Heard It In A Past Life with a side of pasta alle vongole.

What are the best conditions for listening music ?

Live of course! I love a live acoustic set with a very small crowd. It’s raw, intimate, and unique.

Which artist would you love to have a drink with?  And what would you drink ?

Amy Winehouse with a pint of Guinness.
